The aim of the simulation developed in this thesis is to increase the knowledge of the health care students about different cultural factors, for example in the treatment of patients of different ages and with different functional disorders.

In this simulation, the patient is a 5-year-old child with a cerebral palsy who has accidentally fallen down. The simulation is useful to learn about communication skills, status assessment and the treatment of a child patient. The scenario is ready for educational use and it can also be customised to suit in different degree programmes as desired.
